Hey I had caught my raikou after many hardwork and I mistakly released it .. can I get it back by battling nikola

Even if I battle and win in nikila   do I have to defeat raikou guardian too?

Yes, you can re-catch raikou by battling Nikola boss.

Not sure, but yes you need to battle the boss 3 times for raikou to spawn again.

    As mentioned by RatedBeast you will have to beat Raikou guardian up to three times for Raikou to spawn again. Just like you caught it the first time. Do keep in mind that this will spawn a new Raikou, one with different stats and nature as the one caught priorly
