I've caught Darkrai and completed the last two events, but I can;'t get into the mega gengar shrine to start that quest. It says a powerful force pushes me back. I remember doing the dark realm quest last year so is there anything else i need to do to activate this? Thanks 🙂

You need to beat Umbra in the Dark Realm. As that is optional you probably didnt do that when you were in the Dark Realm.

You now have to go back to the Dark Realm and do it again but this time make sure to beat Umbra and recruit all the pokemon there as you will need those for the Gengarite quest.

To go back to the Dark Realm you have to beat the Horon boss which is north of Necropolis. Once you beat him without one your pokemon fainting Alucard will respawn in his castle, battle Alucard while having a pokemon with the move Miracle Eye in your party and you will be send back to the Dark Realm.
