I can't start the Mega Gengar quest and also the XD001 quest

Featured Replies

Hello, I can't start Mega Gengar's or XD001's quest.
Last year I did the quest to capture the Darkrai and caught it, but I couldn't access Mega Gengar's quest. This year the same thing happened, I tried to access Mega Gengar's quest and couldn't enter the map.
Just like the Detective NPC from XD001's quest didn't appear to me. I would like to know if there was any error and if I need to restart the quest. I tried to restart it via Boss Horon, but it didn't work.

To start the XD001 quest you need the Gengarite first.

I guess you are unable to enter the shrine for the Gengarite quest then? Thats because you didnt beat Umbra in the Dark Realm during the Darkrai quest.

You have to go back to the Dark Realm and finish that part again but make sure to beat Umbra and to recruit every pokemon there as you will need them for the Gengarite quest.

To go back into the Dark Realm you have to beat Horon north of Necropolis without one of your pokemon fainting, doing so will respawn Alucard in his castle on the third floor. Battle him while having a pokemon with the move miracle eye in party and you will be send to the Dark Realm again.
