Hello.
I would like to know if there is any requirement to use the extreme speed tutor on route 48. I couldn't teach it to any of my pikachus, but a friend managed to teach his.

Bumping this, I tried putting extreme speed on a pikachu I recently trained and it's saying it can't learn it.

 

I did it in the past with this one:

 

Is there some kind of requirement or is this unintentional?

Can you try the tutor once more but without any egg moves on your Pikachu?
