As you all may know... due to the current changes, all boss and even wild pokes now can deplete the PP of their move, it resulted to very annoying and harder to catch Pokemon like Beldum knowing it has only 1 move which is Take down and has a PP usage of only 20.

 

In other words, you only have 20 tries for Beldum to use takedown before it will struggle itself and thus get killed.  So I was wondering how can I somehow improve the chances knowing the problem itself is the PP.

 

 

As a result..

I found a way to prolonged the PP of Takedown and the key to this are " Leppa Berry and Rotom "

 

 

The answer is, using Trick to give Leppa berry to a wild Beldum and thus it will replenish for about 10 PP of Takedown.

 

Continuously doing that with other Rotom you have which has a Leppa berry equipped. 

 

 

HOW TO USE IT ?

 

Here is my party

 

1st slot = lvl 15 sync fainted

2nd slot = Ghost False swiper

3rd slot to 6th slot = Rotom

 

1 Leppa = 10 PP

Now I have many Beldum's Takedown tries unlike before

- before = 20 PP

- now using 4 rotom with Leppa berry = 60 PP

 

When encountering wild Beldum, use any status move that can decrease the stats of a Pokemon like My Doublade's Metal sound move, knowing the beldum has a ability called Clear body, you can easily differentiate if the Beldum stats get lowered, if it does get lowered it can only mean one thing which it's Light metal.

 

Upon knowing it has a good ability (Clear body), you can now use False swipe then switch to Rotom and paralyze it using Thunderwave. Finally the waiting game begins, spam it using Pokeball or so but always be reminded and note to use trick when the wild Beldum's Takedown is out of PP in order to replenish it and not get killed.

How to hunt Beldum in 2022 V2.0

 

I found a way to improve the chance of Beldum to successfully caught it even with or without using of Leppa Berry to replenish the PP.

 

 

Here's the key 

 

"The secret is, by using Entrainment move + Truant !"

What is Truant?

So as you imagined, it does 1 round for Beldum to literally do nothing and as a result, it saves 1 PP usage for every other turn. 

- Before... it takes Beldum to deplete the Takedown 20 PP usage for 20 turns without Paralyze and having missed the move.

- But now using Entrainment + Truant :   20 x 2 = 40 turns  

 

 

How to use it?

 

Party

 

1st slot

- Synch poke lvl 15(Repel trick)  Fainted.

 

2nd slot

- Durant w/ ability (Truant) lvl 36 to learn Entrainment / MOVES: Entrainment, Metal sound, and Thunder wave.

 

3rd slot 

- Any Ghost Fswiper like honedge. 

 

4th slot to 6th slot

- Rotom with Trick and has Leppa Berry Equipped.

 

 

- When the wild beldum spawned, use Metal Sound first in order to know if the ability is Clearbody or Lightmetal, then use Entrainment , switch to 3rd slot GhostFswiper to Falseswipe it, then switch to 4th slot to Paralyze it.

 

The waiting game begins, spam Pokeballs and also be reminded to switch to Rotom to do Trick move to restore the PP before the Wild Beldum's Takedown PP usage hits " 0 " Zero.

 

Because the only time the wild Beldum will eat the berry is when the PP is only " 1 "  after doing its last move Takedown!
