Your situation could have a lot of explanations.

• Perhaps you fainted against a wild Pokémon
• Perhaps you surrendered to a NPC Trainer
• Perhaps you bought something from an NPC and forgot (yes, it’s happened before)
• Perhaps you bought something from a player and forgot (yes, it’s happened before)

These are just a few examples, but there are a multitude of methods one can lose money without noticing. With such little information to go off of, it’s hard to pinpoint what happened.

 

When you say bug event, are you referring to the Bug Catching Contest? If so, do you remember what you were doing before, after, and during your participation in said contest?

Was there anything out of the ordinary that you can remember?
