Hi guys, liberty this side. probably i didnt knew that evolving pokemons will decrease the leveling up rate of pokemons drastically. i have a lvl 36 raichu, lvl 36 graveler, lvl 45 golduck, lvl 46 sandslash, lvl 26 haunter and a lvl 17 arcanine. I cant defeat celadon city gym leader cuz i have only lvl 17 ARCANINE. Help please. people say i can trade my pokemons once i defeat the leader so its importanter for me...

you can actualy get the story done with any pokemon you want, you can look for a close route where you can level your team , so its get a bit easier.

And when you are done with story can focus on catching a good pok for seeling or using it.

I recomend you to evolve the haunter so you can use poison types, and a pidgeot or arcanine would be great to story too

Realistically, story pokémon don't really sell for anything anyways, so it doesn't really matter your arcanine is lvl 17.
