I seem to have run into an ev problem?

i was reworking some ev's and my rotom seemed to be capped at 480 ev's.

I cannot put the last 30 points in hp. (128)

As i was reworking my ferrothorn, rotom gained ev's in spdef. and ferrothorn capped at 206 spdef.

It looks like i can raise spdef on rotom. but, not it's hp.

Ferrothorn has the same problem now.

Am i missing something?

How are you training EVs?
Keep in mind the Party EXP Share was removed with the halloween event, so EVs arent shared anymore either now.

At ev zone.

I'm well aware that xp share is gone.

 

I just can't seem to put my ev's in rotom's hp stat.

Rotom had 252 def, 100 speed and 128 hp ev's.

So, i should be able to raise rotom's hp to 158.

Hp can't be raised, though.

But, i can put those same 30 points in spdef. (which i did for the time being)

 

Same goes for ferrothorn.

I can't seem to raise it's spdef over 206.

Ev's are at 466 now..

I can't put the last 44 points in spdef.

I'd like to let you know that we would need to see a video of the issue that you're facing. It would be for us to understand it better and try to replicate it, so that it can be fixed.

Ok, so.. as i got home from work and started recording the issue.

It seems to have fixed itself?

I was now able to add the ev's into the desired stats, instead of having to force them elsewhere.

 

I am still confused about the situation.

I wasn't imagining anything. The ev's really bugged out on me.

But, as i didn't get to record it. And the ev's are all allocated correctly at the moment.

I guess this can be closed?

Very glad to hear that your issue was resolved.

 

However, it is important for us to know what was causing the issue. Were you trying to use HP Up or other Proteins to add EVs to your Pokemon? Note that they can only be used up until the first 100 EVs for each stat (for example, HP upto 100 EVs) and not any more.

 

Feel free to ask if you have any more concerns regarding this.

Nahh, i didn't use any vitamins since they can only go up to a 100. and, rotoms hp was 128 at the time.

I EV train quite a bit. and am hoping it happens again. i'll record it immediately if it does.
