victini dj

Please kindly fix this dj it's unheard of at any run the game bug the kyurem doesn't remove the barriers for victini and it doesn't come from our side.

We made the best run ever on the server and we had to restart Kyurem 9 times because of this bug

In total we lost 28 min cause of kyurem

Hey, did you do both kyurem 9 times or just one? here is a kyurem white and a kyurem black in the dungeon 

you have to defeat them at the same time in order to break the barrier and fight the victini in the middle of the room. 

 

Do you have and screenshots of which kyurem you exactly mean? hope this doesn't count as mini modding just trying to help.

how many ppl were in your group in the dungeon? 

did you defeat all guardians at the same time?

 

did the kyurems change places after you defeated them or did they stay where they were? did the one on vicini move around or just stand there? bc sometimes you have to walk around to the barrier disappears.

It happen to me couple times, 1 barrier is down the other is not. But its because other member got bad connection, it makes timing really off. Or maybe it just bug xD, pinkan one turn out also bit bugged

Salut Alexis,
This is a known bug that we also encounter regularly (most recently on Saturday) on the Gold server.
It seems to happen more regularly when the Kyurem are all the way down (who knows why).

 

Here's a summary of our discussions with the staff:
- In February: "The issue has been found out, the content admin is currently looking into the code for a fix."
- Early March: "The issue has been identified, not fixed, but there are currently other priorities underway".
It has been suggested that we kill Kyurem quickly to avoid the bug (spoiler: still happens).

 

HEY STAFF !!
With the dungeons rework, this bug, coupled with the rarity of Twin Dragon Orbs, makes points farming really difficult.
Very few Vale Ores are earned per run, and runs are made "at a loss" when bugs are encountered.


Please do something! (Fix the bug, of course, or maybe one free run a week until it's fixed?)

I have to agree with Marouf here. Not only because he's the leader of my guild, but mostly because he is right. The fact that there is such a bug is very annoying, but it is made much worse by how hard it is to even enter Victini's dungeon

 

As a comparison

Forlorn : 1 free run a day, one can enter alone and farm strange glitters to be able to afford free runs for other days

Pinkan : 2 free runs a day, one can enter alone and farm mythical notes to be able to afford free runs for other days

Victini : 0 free run, impossible to enter alone, 1 twin dragon orb MANDATORY to even get inside the dungeon, about 20% chance to get one, twice a month.

 

A single run nets about 20 vale ores, so basically 10 twin dragon orbs are necessary to get 1 free entry. This is completely unbalanced, and I know that you have been trying to balance things a little bit (by giving us 2 rr shards instead of 1, by adding vale ores) because Victini's dungeon was not popular enough, but the main issue is that it's way too difficult to get enough vale ores. There are several simple ways to balance things a bit more.

1. Give us any way to get twin dragon orbs or vale ores other than beating bosses.

              - a weekly quest,

              - an NPC that sells twin dragon orbs (or even vale ores) for pve coins or in-game money

              - a potential reward for Celadon or Solaceon's quest

              - the ability to trade them (probably a bad idea because that would give a huge advantage to guilds with many players)

 

2. Give us a free run once in a while : once a day, once a week...

 

Right now it is next to impossible for a new guild to be competitive in Victini's dungeon, because it is by far the most complex and longest dungeon, and it is simply not possible for a new guild to become good at this with a handful of tries every month.
