I did a quick search and didn't find anything on the subject. Anyway, I wanted to suggest applying a delay to users posting in trade chat if it's possible. The chat gets kinda flooded with people posting the same message, but with a different letter tossed in. I personally think it'd be good to restrict users ability to post in the trade channel to once every 1.5-2 minutes.

That would make auctions a lot slower, might not seem like a problem but would probably annoy a lot of people

not need to long, but need for avoid spam :) In fact, people don't need anything for double post, except they try to spam. That's my opinion by the way.

Good idea, but i think 15 or 20 sec would be better
