Encounter Message

Hi guys,

 

since a few months i noticed alot of players getting more and more toxic towards rare encounters from other players (especially me )

 

For example:

 

This also happens to other players that dont hide their name. 

 

Here my suggestion:

The player names will be hidden for everyone, so its only "A player encountered..."

 

or

Every name should be enabled. Example "S1lverh4wk encountered...."

 

What are the benefits of this:

 

-Less hate spread of jealouse

 

Also i think alot of players lie about their Luck, encounters, whatever you wanna call it.

+1 , but ig its rather better than none of the names showing, cuz if everyones names started being shown then the number of scams / unfair trades whatever you wanna mention it as would increase by alot 

Alot of new players find rare shinies / forms when playing but since they wouldnt always know the true values of them, then people tend to lowball them by alot and them not knowing the value gets scammed pretty easily

There is an option already in game which allows you to annoymise your name. ^

Of course i want to share my luck with you guys. If i didnt i wouldve done this long time ago. This post isn't about hate against me, but also benefits others.

Also it takes some work for the short manned Staff Team that handles Reports.

Option already in-game and it's by default anonymous, so if a name appears it's because of their choice.

Most of the replies (ofc, always the same, etc.) are banter. If someone is harassing or being toxic it's likely an isolated case, which can be reported anyway.
