Nottanyaa Posted yesterday at 04:25 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:25 AM I’d like to suggest adding a Luck Bar (bad-luck protection) system to PvP chests. The idea is simple: Each time a player opens a PvP chest without receiving a rare item, their Luck Bar increases by 0–2%. When the Luck Bar reaches 100%, the next chest is guaranteed to contain at least one rare item. If a rare item is obtained before reaching 100%, the Luck Bar resets to 0%. This would directly address a major frustration many players experience. Currently, some players open 150–200 chests and still receive nothing of value, which feels discouraging and unfair, even if the odds are technically correct. Many successful games use similar systems, and it greatly improves player satisfaction without breaking balance. 3 Eeveelutions Guild Page Eeveelutions Store Eeveelutions Discord Server Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/269392-luck-bar-in-pvp-chests/ Share on other sites

Rhulk Posted yesterday at 04:35 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:35 AM +1. Would also help control prices of rares. Lots are just being hoarded by resellers 1 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/269392-luck-bar-in-pvp-chests/#findComment-1666745 Share on other sites
Zeskyr Posted yesterday at 04:47 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:47 AM We could say the same thing for the farming. Some people hunt 50h and they get 2 rare forms, some players farm for 200h and they don't even get one. That's how RNG works, i'm not in favor for a pity system. The only thing that is sure is that you should keep farming chests and it will pay at some point For me it's a - 1 but thank you for the suggestion Good luck to you and have fun 1 Are you interested by buying some pokemon? Mavywavy
Implementing a so-called "Luck Bar" would fundamentally undermine the game's economy and the prestige of rare drops. Rare items derive their value specifically from their scarcity, transforming them into a certainty would lead to market inflation and devalue the items already held by the community. Furthermore, this sets a dangerous precedent that could eventually strip the excitement from other rare encounters like shiny or form hunting which effectively turning a thrilling game of chance into a predictable and unrewarding grind. Lyn1311
Easy +1 How about just boost chest drop overall? These chest drop [heck] af. Opening thousands both blue and yellow chest and only 1 vr cosmetics. Not 1 or 2 people i know left game after try stacking hundreds chest and got yoinked. Its suppose to make people interested on pvp. Imagine if you noob, not getting any drops, tokens shop also out of your league and best drop you got is charm and fake tear tm, or you getting some phione reroll which giving 0×6 ivs. Idont give care about cosmetics market, its unreasonable high anyway, wtf even 1 cosmectis more expensive than 3-4 rare shiny. Boost drop, add some cosmetics to token shop with understandable price, at least make pvp more rewarding to everyone not just ladder player. I use some untradeable cosmetics already and this cost me around 50-60m, i dont care if drop easier and it lost on value. Imagine trying to collect just naruto set and you have to get 200m first, wtf lol. 1 ___________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________________ Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/269392-luck-bar-in-pvp-chests/#findComment-1666767 Share on other sites
