This thread is about the HM mechanic in general, it's not a measuring contest like you made it out to be with your replies, I could also tell you I benefit from it since it pretty much kicked another guild down the ladder and I have a better chance at being first since I do the dungeon solo, that's not a way to judge if a mechanic is healthy/balanced or not, same goes for trainer tower since I have the resources to not care about how much I spend or how many items I consume.
You're also accusing other people of wanting a change for themselves, yet here you are doing the exact same about the current change, "I don't cry about the change at all, I ignore it completely, it's even make me reach a higher score than before, why should I complain", your words, not mine, I would say typical average PRO player mentality, if it benefits me who cares about the rest. Instead of projecting and deflecting the topic, bring something substantial to the conversation, though that would require for you to actually read and understand the thread and not just the parts that fit your own interest.
Also stop with the "you guys", you were happily abusing that mechanic too just like the rest of the playerbase, but I bet you couldn't care less then cause it benefited you.
There are dozens of way to fix the unlimited PP abuse as you call it without depleting them this way, something that actually makes sense would be a start since you are depleted even when you learn the move naturally which proves there is no logical thought behind this.
Since you said you're enjoying the content as a top dungeoner, I will do the same and say I'm not enjoying it at all, with the difference that I'm unbiased cause both ways benefit me.

Since this thread is slowly going in the entirely wrong path so far I'll respond one last time to you @Mingrenpro and then let you be.

I said multiple times now that we can adapt/clear the dungeon. Our current 1.9k run is a random solo portal run.
You are saying you cleared every single entrance you finished this month with 2.2k minimum yet I don't see Ascension on the Leaderboard for this month.
Also, sorry to say but 2.2k really isn't a lot for a duo portal run.
I'm not even sure why you are trying to make it a measure contest but so far the highest Hoopa scores recorded have been set by Revenant & Holydoof, group and solo runs.

You are still missing the entire reason of this thread and only make it about yourself. You enjoy it because it benefits you, not because it's healthy for the game.
If you would've actually read my thread carefully then you would know that I suggested ways of fixing the infinite PP while not making it beyond useless like it is right now.

The exact same goes for the Trainer Tower. I personally couldn't care less about the PP change, I got 999 Leppa & Sitrus Berries on all 3 of my accounts, the change doesn't affect me personally. However I try to think about the entire game, about the new players and not just about me.

Since you want the measure contest right here, as someone who set the (as of right now) second highest Hoopa group run score right behind Revenant & the second highest solo run score right behind Pinklax I can tell you this change is not healthy for the content, especially for newer players.

As a main runner for the current leading dungeon guild and part of the top scores for Hoopa I am not enjoying running Hoopa dungeon at all in it's current state.
I want competition for the dungeons. It's boring if there is no competition.

Plain and simple. Team run brings a higher score in dungeon in general, but it is harder obviously, you either try all your 60 standard entries in the whole month for testing out a feasible one, or make it easier for yourself by solo-ing it, mind you, I know last month, and not just last month alone, silver ladder in hoopa dungeon was mostly from solo run, so don't act like you care that much about team run when you chose to skip it even when you can that way.

 

By the way, don't keep bringing out new players as your shield to push for the change you wanted, "It's harder for them", of course it is, but look, their goal is not to set a top score (not happening anyway), simply set a 1000+ in a whole month (60 standard tries, blame yourself if you still fail to do so after that many entries)

 

Simply put, adapt, or stay where you are, I'm enjoying the content so far as a top dungeoner.

Points made were really clear and come down to two things:
1. inconsistensy and RNG on runs due to berries and HM PPs.
2. increased complexity because of low amount of viable strats that makes it harder for newer players interested in dungeons.

to the first point:
saying "im having a chill run and hitting 2.2k" is redundant. Even a broken clock is right twice a day and is not disproving points made about different layer difficulties/ success rate and the RNG around it.


second point:
I dont know why we shouldnt take the POV of a newer player to think through what it needs to run the dungeon and make it as accessible as possible while keeping the challenging part. 
Or should we throw the entry level dungeon runners under the bus for you to have 2 weeks of top score until people adapted and beat your score?

The whole part of you talking about a 1.9k score this early in march is just ragebait and not really contributing/disproving the points made by @Callmerengod you just seem to be satisfied about the situation.

it seem to directly impact your ability to make money by selling hoopa service to less experienced and its in your interest to keep it as unaccessible as possible.

I agree with Ren on the above discussions,

 

My personal take -

This is clearly very frustrating for very casual players like me who not really have the time to make a dungeon team for specific solo dungeons when suddenly such changes do arrive, and we all know how competitive these are that I wouldn't except anyone to straight away giveaway their strat

 

I can't and don't have the chance to experiment new stuff and for this solo dungeons become frustrating given the fact how much rng are involved in this hoopa dungeon, so a rework is must for the hoopa dungeon.

 

Pve content is competitive and if so much rng gets involved in every possible runs then it's not worth giving the time, and only really it was the shortest solo runs earlier, all others take longer so casual players would like some improvement in the structure of hoopa dungeon
