Hello everyone,

After careful investigation, we can confirm that the forum was down during a crucial moment for some of these Pokémon auctions. For clarity purposes, we will use GMT+2 for this explanation of what happened.

Let's break it down:

Forum downtime: from 03:55 AM to 04:34 AM (20/05/2026).

MAWILE

Only one bid was made by @Allsmell. Since the auction is already over, @Allsmell is the winner with a bid of 100K.
 

SNORLAX

Only one bid was made by @Allsmell. Since the auction is already over, @Allsmell is the winner with a bid of 100K.
 

ZANGOOSE
 

• The auction started at 03:38 AM with a 500K bid by @Messijohn 
  
• At 03:37 AM @Lordofthetrades bid 1.3M, extending the auction by 15 minutes. New deadline 03:52 AM.
  
   
• At 03:38 AM @Twistie bid 1.4M, extending the auction by 15 minutes. New deadline 03:53 AM.
  
   
• The auction ended at 03:53 AM since no one bid before 03:52:59 AM. Any bids after this exact moment won't be considered valid.
   
• At 03:53 AM @Lordofthetrades bid 1.5M, but unfortunately, as explained above, the auction was already over.
   

For these reasons, we must declare @Twistie the winner of the Zangoose with their 1.4M bid. As a reminder, the forum didn't go down until 03:55 AM (so it had no effect on the bids for Zangoose).

METAGROSS

• At 03:38 AM (19/05/2026) @obiwann bid 100K on Metagross. Setting up the deadline on the 20/05 at 03:38 AM.
  
• At 03:31 AM, @Iprime bid 2.5M on Metagross, extending the deadline until 03:46 AM.
  
   
• At 03:42 AM, @Vinier bid 2.8M on Metagross, extending the deadline until 03:57 AM.
  
   
• At 03:55 AM, @Hbkk2 bid 2.9M on Metagross, extending the deadline until 04:10 AM.
  
   
• At 03:55 AM, the forum went on and off until 04:34 AM making it difficult for players to bid and impossible for the seller to post the in-game bids on the forum on time.
   
• At 04:02 AM, @Vinier bid 3.3M on Metagross. As previously mentioned, the forum was barely online and experiencing several issues during this time; however, we will consider this bid VALID.
   

Due to the forum being down and multiple players wanting to bid (as correctly evidence by @Kenshinv) on the Metagross, we believe the best course of action is to extend this auction for an extra 24 hours.

I will hide any offers/messages after @Vinier 04:02 AM bid.

Everyone is free to bid on Metagross until 15:22 PM GMT+2 (21/05/2026), exactly 24 hours after this message is posted.

CURRENT OFFER on Metagross: 3.3M by @Vinier.

Tagging @Hbkk2 and @Sylrus2308 just so they are aware of the decision and can place any bids on Metagross they want from now on.

I will delete any offers after @Vinier 04:02 AM bid. Anyone is free to bid on Metagross until 15:22 PM GMT +2 (21/05/2026), exactly 24 hours after the this message is posted.

Beg to differ, but without getting too technical, my bid was still valid. Check the following screenshots:

 

Twistie's bid was placed 01:38:23,

 

 

whereas mine was at 01:53:07, which means I was still in the valid window.

I think it is also worth saying that although I bid sooner, the forum uploaded my answer later, because of the server lag.

 

I have no problem with being a good fellow and allowing Twistie to claim the auction, but to be fair, we should proceed in a similar way as you stated with Metagross.

Thanks for your insight. It was a close call, to be honest with you, but we will stick to our rules and procedures.

We use the forum clock for every auction, and since it does not show seconds, we determine whether bids are valid or invalid by the exact minute they are made.

As you showed, @Twistie bid at 01:38 AM (your timezone), extending the auction until 01:53 AM (and not until 01:53:23).

Regarding the forum being laggy, I can understand that being an issue, but 15 full minutes passed between both bids, which, as you said, would not have been a problem if you had posted a minute earlier.

I'm sure this is not the answer you were expecting, but I can assure you we have considered all outcomes. In Zangoose's case, declaring @Twistie the winner is what made the most sense to us.

In that case, I would suggest using a bit more accurate clock and taking into consideration the server lag. It took whole 2 minutes to upload my bid, so it is not really my fault. I did bid on place and time. 
It is not understandable, and I do not share it.
