Vangogsan
I posted long ago 2 suggestion with the idea the game and market to stay alive because we know the current rate of the game . I will post the 2 topic so i can update the idea and hopefully be implemented some day : https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/211228-farmer-jack/#comment-1223442 - for farmer Jack https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/216408-happy-hour/#comment-1270822 - for Happy hour The total ourcome from both idea is : NPC named Farmer Jack who collects usable pokemons from any lvl that cant be sold on the market, but they are still usable. He can accept any lvl pokemon. If the pokemons are trained and lvl up or only one of the mentioned , he can extra drop random one time used items suck : rare candy, focus sash, pp up, red card or any one time used item. But the main goal is to reward the hard working our hunting people in this game. How this will happen ? - By donating pokemons ( the method will be the same as the mysterious cultist ) you gain exp points of progress untill you reach the max points. Once you did it you will recive an item called Lucky Medalion. He will allow you to boost the shiny chance by 10% for 10 hours of use . Once you obtain that item , the NPC reset itself and you start again . How this can be healty / unhealty for the game: - up the shiny chance slightly - ik some of you might be afraid that the market will collapse even more but that can be easly avoided. The staff team can limit the shiny chance to certain pokemons :example is like shiny drop of the month can be Scyther, Gligar or Dedene. Our you can give the boost to uncommon pokemons as Shroomish or Gleymeow. That way the abuse will be limited to the minimum and people will have more desire to spend hours in this game. Also you can make the xp progress bigger so the paid effort to be equal to the needed effort for such tool. For example for each donated pokemon you gain 1 exp, and the total exp needed for such item can be 200 000 or even more. Some will say this number is too high , but if you hunt enough and get just usable pokemons , that number can be easly filled - More engage with the game - for sure this will up the number of players who will feel his hunt worthy - bigger activity - we know better how many people left the game because they felt upset of getting 0 in hours of wasted time in game, so this will feel kinda worthy and rewarding How the npc will determinate witch Pokemon is worthy to be accepted : -minimum 80 ivs - correct nature -correct abillity If trained or lvl up or both , the extra one time used rewards will drop as the BCC npc Ik that may be a lot of work for the developers but i hope this to gather the bot suggestions i made , and make it happen so we all enjoy the game. 3 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/275902-farmer-jack-happy-hour-lucky-medalion/ Share on other sites
Monstrebu
I like the idea. I think slightly increasing shiny spawn rate won't have a huge impact (+10% of 1/8192 is still very low) and still it may encourage people to hunt knowing that at least there will be some reward even when you don't have luck to find what you're aiming for. 1 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/275902-farmer-jack-happy-hour-lucky-medalion/#findComment-1718089 Share on other sites
Joksch96
Sounds like a great idea to get something slightly worth it from hunting hours and hours on same spot 1 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/275902-farmer-jack-happy-hour-lucky-medalion/#findComment-1718106 Share on other sites
