When you ask your parents why don't they buy you a laptop instead of you spending your savings, they say you already got one 2 months ago and you're not losing anything when they give your brother a new laptop.

 

TL;DR, you don't deserve to go to hoenn if you don't put in the same amount of work we did.

I disagree, Hoenn doesn't 'lose value' as time goes on. All players get the same content, same pokes, everything you get is the same, therefore the 'laptop' doesn't go down in price.

Yeah, I realised it was a bad example, but in my opinion no one would get hurt if the requirement was removed.

Every regional transportation has a certain requirement to make it an achievement, Kanto = E4, Johto = Start over, Hoenn = Rattata. Its only a one time necessity where you will be given a challenge to fulfill, making your gameplay more challenging and not boring like the handheld games. If you cannot do it, you can always stay in johto and kanto. The choice is yours.

184077 So Are you trying to say that get rid of the level 100 rattata requirements because most of the people are in Hoenn now? All of the people that went to Hoenn train a rattata to 100 and almost spend most of money to buy rare candies so when you get rid of that requirements it is unfair for us that train one. You know the funny part? All those people complaining about the Rattata, how high could they have leveled it in the time they spent complaining about it?

 

Also, it is likely that the people complaining about the requirement now, would be the same people who would be in here complaining that Hoenn is absolutely overflowing with people and that they can't do anything.

Requierment is ok, the only sad thing was that some players, around 15-20 knew already about the rattata thing before even it got announced.

 

Requierment should stay the same, rattata levels up so fast, and u have victory road,dragon's den,mt.silver,cerulean cave for easy level up.
