We still need to know what's the trigger, though. The trigger for the encounter has to be something that's not time-based.

 

Revelion got 3 Riolu in 5 days, while my first Riolu is from 30th August, and I didn't encounter Riolu today. Logically, if it was time-based and the cooldown is not that long, I should have encountered a Riolu today in Historical Site.

I've turned on my sound and hit space as soon as I hear the Riolu sound and had an encounter twice. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or if I was just lucky.

I am at 4050 discoveries and got a Pawniard just now in Feral site.

Why nobody updates this guide? is clearly outdated :o

At 3200 discoveries, I started seeing zangoose at feral site, golett at haunted site, ferroseed at nature site.

 

I have yet to see a tyrogue, they all flee from me.

I recall staffs saying there is supposed to be no difference between MS player and non-MS player......seems like they haven't got the time to do that, since I still see spawn difference based on whether you have active MS or not.

 

Nincada in Natural Site for example, still flee even at 8k discovery points, if you do not have MS activated.
