<t>[mention]hahahaka[/mention] Yes, that is true however it's only obtainable by players who haven't beaten Brock. Once you beat the Pewter Gym, the quest is locked. I assume it's intended to help new players only.</t>

Great guide! One thing that I'd like to make a correction on though: Beating Jackson in S.S. Anne does not grant EXP or PokeDollars. Here's a short gif of me killing his second Pokemon and receiving no EXP. I also did not gain any money doing so.
