if you buy a pokemon caught in hoenn without you have been there yet, can you use him when you go to hoenn in future?

You can use him once you get access to Hoenn, but not in advance. :y:

 

 

I don't even think it's tradeable to you before you get access to it. Found this out last night trying to trade a Dragonair caught in Johto to a player in Kanto :Shy:

After 87 hours of farming, I finally caught it!

like zehhtra said, you wont be able to buy a pokemon caught in hoenn unless you have been to the region yourself.
