Complete Christmas Event (+Spawn) Guide

Hello everybody! :Heart-eyes:

Time has finally come and the new Event has begun! Grab your gloves and scarf because baby it's cold outside.

In this tutorial I am going to teach you everything you need to know about the event ! :Smile:

 

[glow=#891a20]The Summary[/glow]

 

During this Christmas Event you not only have the chance to find Christmas themed Pokemon,but there will also be a few quests. The first Quest is already doable, while the other Quest will get unlocked in a couple weeks, closer to Christmas! So you will have something to do for all of December other than Shiny 3.0. farming!

You will recieve special Christmas gifts from all of the Quests. The reward for completing the first Quest is a special Santa Suit and Hat! The other reward are still unknown.

Also there is a costume shop in which you can buy outfits!

This is a list of all the Pokemon you can catch as a Christmas Version. I will add Screenshot when I find them! These Pokemon will show up GREEN in chat.

They have a 800% more likely chance to be obtained than a shiny. Click on the name to see a screenshot! (If available)

[glow=#891a20]The First Quest[/glow]

 

To finish this Questline you will need:

Cut

Surf

Pokemon that are able to beat level level <60 Pokemon.

3x Escape Rope (optional)

 

You can start the first Quest by talking to the Master Elf in Viridian City. He tells you to go and find 12 hidden Elves to help and find Santa! You will have to tell all 12 Elves a "password" in order for them to know you need their help. Quick Tip: Walk into the Poke Center in Viridian and buy a few escape ropes if you are lazy like me!

 

Go find the Secret Elf 1 in Pewter City! He will battle you with a level 12 Stantler.

 

After that head to Cerulean City to find the Secret Elf 2. He will fight you with a level 15 Glalie.

 

You will be able to find the next Secret Elf 3 in Celadon City. He will fight you with a level 27 Froslass.

 

To find the next Secret Elf 4 you will have to go to the Diglett Cave! He will fight you with a level 32 Glaceon.

 

Afterwards you have to visit Lavender Town. Here the Secret Elf 5 will fight you with a level 34 Lopunny.

 

When you beat him, he will tell you to find Secret Elf 6 in the Frozen Cave near Cryofrost City. To get to Cryofrost City go back to Viridian City (Or use escape rope if you listened to my tipp ;)).

Way to the Cave:

 

You will then have to fight the Evil Muffin and his level 45 Stantler to enter the cave. Go all the way through the Cave and beat all the evil to find Santa!

Here are the trainers you will have to face and their Pokemon so make sure you are strong enough to face them. :)

First Floor (No screenshot since there is only one way)

Evil Werewolf: 43 Tyranitar, 45 Onix

Evil Zombie: 47 Emboar

 

Second floor:

 

Third Floor:

Evil Dravula: 50 Piloswine

Evil Witch: 55 Gengar

Evil Mummy: 60 Dragonite

 

Once you've beat all the mad little Halloween Fanbois talk to Santa and he will send you all the way back to Viridian City (See why I told you to get escape ropes and walk into the Viridian Pokecenter?!).

Now you can talk to Santa again and receive your suit and hat! :)

 

Congratulations, you have finished the first Questline~!

I deleted the hidden items section, since I didn't find any. Also I added the Spawns of the Frozen Cave! =)
