The last part of your statement isn't necessarily true. Look at what happened with Yellow Server, people said that Blue was going to die off and they could never imagine the thought of THREE servers. But at the time being, the answer is no. The current staff team is busy and overloaded with Sinnoh work that almost everything else is low priority to them. Opening another server, well, wouldn't be too smart.

It was during the summer, that mass influx of players, it rose high then fell but I beleive that player count rose slightly more than how it was before summer. If it repeats PRO will gradually have more and more active players each year, it may not be sudden, but gradual.
