Genesect, Gothitelle and Blaziken testing phase

[align=justify]After long debates in our public discord, seems no consensus can be reached. I ended up talking to the staff and reached a middle ground: let you choose!

What am I even talking about? Well, after many seasons, some players feel that Blaziken should be in the banned bracket, Shadow Tag should be left free, and others want both or neither of those chances. Also, since Genesect (Which won't be added in other way of capture besides the current one, in which is extremely hard) was just released, players want to feel how much it can change the meta. We talked about testing one or testing the other, and we chose: why not both? And what better way to test this than using the ladder itself? Or, if you want, post in comments for a customized period for it, all will be taken into consideration.

 

At the end of the testing phase (if it will happen), we will create another poll for testing what's the player base's opinion about these 3 Pokemon.

 

Also, do note that Genesect's ability Dowload is coded, but it works reversely of how it is supposed to function. You can read more about it here.

 

 

What it is to be considered:

• Which to be banned or unbanned?
  
• How much period for testing? (if this will be not written, the whole season will be taken by default)
  

 

So, spread the word around and let your friends, guildies and enemies know and vote. This poll will last until Monday 1 am GMT.

Requirements to vote:

• You must have 100 PvP points and 100 hours ingame in order to vote. Screenshot your player card and post it here as evidence.

 

If you cast a vote and do not have proof of having 100 points, your vote will not be counted.

 

This is an example of what your reply should look like :

 

- I believe Genesect, Blaziken and Shadow tag should be unbanned/remain banned because....

- And how much period for testing ?

• Don't turn this into a harassment thread, remember to keep it civil. We understand you put a lot of emotions into the things that you care about, but there is no reason to not remain civil. If someone doesn't follow this, both their posts and their vote will be removed from this thread.

Keep both Genesect and Gothitelle banned. As for Blaziken, I don't see a point in banning it. Plenty of ways to deal with it.</r>

i vote to do not ban blazeken and let free genesect, as you and other ppl said on discord, PRO isn't smogon and there are many counters to these pokes.<br/>

If Gothi its unbanned it will be great(i dont have one) since 70% of the teams we see on ranked are stall, so what could be a good way to stop those teams? Of course it would be a gothi with shadow tag. And that probably will help to encourage players to use more offensive pokemon as well more offensive teams<br/>

About Blaziken speed boost, he is not even broken, there are tons of pokemon that can deal with blaziken even if it's boosted (yup I'm talking about you talonflame and azumarill) and also the regular and most used moveset for blaziken its suicidal for it so he can be defeated with out getting harmed.<br/>

And genesect, our new legendary, he may be broken but still its going to be the same thing as the legendary dogs, there would be very few genesect that might be usable on pvp so it can be a 1/20 chances to find one on pvp.<br/>

Personally KFC is easy to deal with but goth/Shadow tag should remain banned. Walls are annoying when you run into them but easy to deal with. Genesect on the other hand is Uber Tier and shouldn't be allowed just like staff stated in the past 600+ base stats legends shouldn't be in ranked to begin with</t>

Keep Gothita/Gothorita/Gothitelle banned, period till we get Teampreview/Pursuit<br/>

Keep Blaziken allowed, a lot of counterplays; should never be banned<br/>

Without a Team-Preview (Who will never implement here) Gothitelle is Is far too powerful.<br/>

Even on Smogon they realized that Shadow Tag is far too powerful and banished him from the OU.<br/>

- I believe Gothitelle should stay banned. Blaziken should stay unbanned.

- I vote for Genesect to have 2 weeks of testing before we decide on banning or not banning it.
