Are the Iv chosen when you meet the Pokemon, or are they chosen when the pokemon is catched.

 

I know it may seem a useless question, but i realy want to know.

I think at the moment you meet the Pokémon because I often noticed different taken damage by wild Pokemon regardless the natural dmg spreat.

IVs are random for every pokemon. The IVs are generated when we meet the Pokemon. The same applies for nature and ability. Good luck :)
