Staff has said they won't be working on it. That being said, they are always adding unique regions as well as continually adding features and Pokemon.

 

However, you never know. Staff had said in the past that certain things wouldn't be happening and they did.

 

 

 

 

No-one on the content team has mentioned anything about this, and I know for a fact that Unova isn't the next region that's being worked on, as I am the one heading up regional development. There IS a region or 2 being worked on, but it isn't Kalos, Alola or Unova.

We do not have any plans for Unova, this will not happen any time soon, as it stands right now.
