1. Hi Gordian, Glad to hear! I'll now lock this topic as your issued is solved.
2. Hi Hikee, I attempted to contact you in-game to help you trade-evolve your Clamperl, but didn't respond and closed the PM. If you'd still like to request a staff member to help you trade-evolve your Clamperl, please make a post in the Evolution & Deleveling Request Megathread, stating your in-game name, server, and timezone. A staff member will attempt to help you trade evolve when you are found online. If you also find any staff members on in-game, you can ask them to help you trade-evolve as well. Keep in mind that you can also ask any of your fellow players who would be kind enough to help you! If you're worried that they won't trade the Clamperl back or scam you in some way, take full screenshots of the trade agreement as well as the trade; should something bad happen to your Clamperl, you can report the said player in the Report Center and PRO Staff can retrieve your Clamperl for you. For more instructions on reporting, please read How to Report. With that said, I'll now lock this topic; have a great rest of your week. Kind Regards, Astraea. - Locked -
3. Hi Gordian, After maintenance is over, can you log in and check that your Kanto-region pokemon are properly region-locked in your PC? Kind Regards, Astraea.
4. Locked as solved, have a good day.
5. Hi AlaanLuccs, Have you gone underground to head to Route 6 yet? Please look at the following Kanto Walkthrough as the usual case with these problems is that the player missed a step. I'll paste some of the guide below; please take a look and try to pick up where you left off and continue following along!
To start the SS Anne quest you will first need to talk to Lt. Surge at the Vermillion Docks. He will return to his gym and you will be able to enter the cruise ship. If you didn't get the SS Anne ticket from Bill then you will have to walk all the way back to Route 25 and complete his quest. When you enter the SS Anne, talk to the usher and he will escort you to your room. Log in to the PC next to your bed and he will move from your doorway. Whenever your Pokémon need healing you should come back to your room and interact with your bed. As you continue you can go into each room of the ship and battle trainers. To maximize your EXP I recommend that you battle all of the trainers on the ship. Make your way to the first floor and enter the kitchen; located on the far left. Make sure you have a Pecha berry to give to the doctor, if you don't have one in your inventory then there will be one in a trash can. Talk to the doctor in the kitchen and offer to help him cure the captain. When you show him the Pecha berry he will tell you to go the second floor and meet Jenson. Go to the second floor and enter the room on the far right. In here you can talk to Jenson who will ask you to find his Blissey in the ballroom as it holds the secret potion. Make your way upstairs again. From there you have the option to beat Jackson again. You might as well as it's some free EXP and he probably deserves it. Continue to the ballroom and head to the upper floor where you will find Jenson's Blissey. Talk to it and it will disappear and leave you with the secret potion. Now you can return to the second floor and find the captain. On the way there you can pick up some leftovers from this trash can, Once you get to the captain's quarters you can give him the potion in return for HM Cut. You can now leave the SS Anne and fight the Vermillion gym. You cannot return to the SS Anne after leaving.
Lt. Surge's gym puzzle is probably the most annoying one out of the Kanto gyms. Instead of having something cool like teleporters or... teleporters, he has a bunch of trash cans switches and two of those switches need to be activated in the correct order. When guessing the switches you will mostly see this: However, once you trigger the first switch you will see: You now have to find the second switch in the sequence by going through all the switches again. However, if you click the wrong switch then you'll have to start again, so you better remember where that first switch was. Once you finally find both correct switches you will be able to progress and battle Lt. Surge. Surge specializes in Electric Types so ground type Pokémon will be most effective against him. He uses a Voltorb, Pikachu, Electrode and Raichu. I recommend you level your Pokémon to around level 35 for this gym. Upon beating him you will be rewarded with the Thunder Badge and you'll be able to buy TM24 - Thunderbolt from the man at the entrance. When exploring Vermillion you can go inside this house and receive a free Old Rod. You will need to collect this in order to gain access to the Good Rod and eventually the Super Rod. You can also enter the house next to the Pokécenter and help the boy. Upon paying him $60,000 & giving him an OT Ditto, Samuel will thank you by giving you the bike voucher. You can trade this voucher in at the Cerulean Bike store to receive your bike and gain access to the bike route. Kind Regards, Astraea.
6. Hi GreatScoot, No problem; actually, you get the Eevee after completing the Celadon Underground Hideout Quest, which is mandatory to complete in order to progress further in the Kanto story, meaning you had to have done it as you appear to have completed Kanto: As your issue is solved, I'll now lock this topic! Have a great rest of your week. Kind Regards, Astraea. - Locked -
7. Hi GreatScoot, According to the database, your Pidgey, Spinarak, Eevee, and Sandslash that I've just moved to your PC are all Kanto-caught Pokemon. It is intended that when you start a new region that you are unable to continue with your Kanto-caught Pokemon; you must form a new Johto team and will be unable to use prior region-caught Pokemon until you've successfully defeated the 8th gym. The recent merge has 'scrambled' up the order of Pokemon; for players who have already completed all regions or have not yet started a new region, this wasn't an issue for them. However, if a player was in the middle of doing a main region quest, it is possible that region-locked Pokemon were shifted into their party, and this appears to have been the case for you. Regaring the Eevee, I believe you got that Pokemon during your Kanto story quest upon saving Eevee from Team Rocket. Unfortunately, I am not able to move it back for you, as it is intended to be region-locked in your PC until you defeat the 8th gym of Johto. Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with. Kind Regards, Astraea.
8. Hi AlaanLuccs, What did Bill tell you to do last? Did you find his research book? If you haven't already, you will need to find that research book in order to receive a ticket for the S.S. Anne. His research book is under his pillow, which is in his house. Kind Regards, Astraea.
9. Hi GreatScoot, All your Kanto Pokemon that should have been region-locked is now in your PC; can you have a look and confirm this for me? Kind Regards, Astraea.
10. Hi there, At the time of your post, the server was down for routine maintenance. PRO Discord is the best place to be updated on the current maintenance and approximate downtime. In the future, please observe our following General Support rule: As mentioned in the Read this before making a General Support topic, here's a way to troubleshoot whenever you get hit by a "Cannot cannot to server" message: -
Please note that, when servers go up after a crash, a large amount of people try to log in, resulting in a ghost queue: - Locked -
11. Hi Brenaya, Said Pokemon have been moved to your PC; can you have a look and confirm that for me? Kind Regards, Astraea.
12. Glad to hear that! I'll now lock this topic as your issue is solved; have a great rest of your week. Kind Regards, Astraea. - Locked -
13. Hello, Sorry for the great delay of response; have you already gotten the scanner from Sailor Wendy on Abandoned Ship 1F? The scanner is necessary in order to pick up the mossy blob. Kind Regards, Astraea.
14. Hi RPGLover88, Regarding the situation you're describing: You may have not had four moves learned on your Metapod, therefore when your Butterfree evolved, it learned Confusion without giving you a prompt, but not giving you a prompt made you believe that Pokemon cannot learn moves when evolving. However, some Pokemon must be at a certain evolutionary stage in order to learn a move, otherwise it cannot be learned. This is how some moves also function in the original handheld games. If you've missed a move you'd like to learn due to evolving the Pokemon later than the learning level, please go to a Move Relearner to re-learn the move! Here are the locations of every Move Relearner in the game: If you haven't already, you can check the Pokedex and look at what level your Pokemon learns a certain move, as some of our movesets aren't on the latest Pokemon generation. It appears that Butterfree actually learns Gust at Lv1, so you will need to go to a Move Relearner in order to teach your Butterfree the move Gust. Some Pokemon may also need to use the Pre-Evo Move Tutor in order to learn a move that it would have been tutored at a younger evolutionary stage; in order to talk to that Pre-Evo Move Tutor, you will need to have unlocked the daycare centers; to do so, please follow the Egg Move Guide. Please note that this is also how you unlock egg moves to teach your Pokemon as breeding is purposely not implemented in the game. Lastly, regarding the wiki—the wiki is updated by contributors and some staff on their own free time, and unfortunately it's not up to date as we're all volunteers and have only so much time to spare contributing to PRO! However, if you see something that is missing in the wiki, you can request your own wiki account and start updating the wiki as well! However, the wiki will be down until June 1st, 2018 due to issues with our host. Most of the big quests—such as the story quests and catching Legendaries—already have guides written in the Game Guide subforum, so although it may not be on the wiki, you can count on most valuable information to be somewhere on our forums. If you're still lost and need help on something that isn't on the wiki either, feel free to ask for assistance in General Support and we'll help you out there! Kind Regards, Astraea.
15. Hi ButWhyThough, Please try the following steps and tell me how it goes: If it doesn't do the trick, this might: Keep in mind that you may have to try these fixes multiple times, and restart your client in between these fixes may help. Unfortunately we haven't found a permanent fix for this issue yet, and the aforementioned steps are the ones that have been reported working to us. I'll be looking forward for your answer; in the meanwhile, I wish you a great day! Kind Regards, Astraea.
16. Hi there, Please make a report in the Donation & Coins Issues subforum with proof of purchase so an Admin can manually put the coins on your account! Kind Regards, Astraea. - Locked -
17. Hi Ketchsheep, Sorry for the inconvenience that occurred due to the Bag Glitch. Unfortunately, we haven't found a fix for the bag glitch, however, as long as you don't spam click on the game, the freeze will resolve itself and you should be able to use your bag items after the freeze is over with. In the future, if your game freezes when opening up the bag, it's important to not click anything, as the client will sort itself out in a matter of seconds. There is little PRO Staff can do to fix this glitch currently as only a full Developer would be able to. The best we can do is let the player base know about the glitch, so that they can avoid it by opening their bag every 5-10 minutes when farming, or simply waiting out the glitch without any mouse inputs. As there is nothing more I can do for you, I'll now lock this topic and I wish you a good rest of your week! Kind Regards, Astraea. - Locked -
18. Hi Julian888, Sorry to hear that your game crashed during a boss battle! Unfortunately, there is little PRO Staff can do to help you, however, you shouldn't have lost any percentage of your money if you disconnected in the middle of your battle with the boss; the only time you will actually lose 5% of your Pokedollars is if you black out in a battle. As there is nothing I can do for you, I'll now lock this topic and I wish you a great rest of your week. Sorry for the delays in response. Kind Regards, Astraea.
19. Hi PkmnMaster123, As quoted in the Issue Guide: At the moment, these are the current known workarounds, so let me know if they work for you. If not, more details on the problem you're experiencing will greatly help me troubleshoot this with you. Kind Regards, Astraea.
20. Hi Nandun, Sorry for the delay in response... First, can you verify that you indeed downloaded the latest update here? Please also ensure that your device is running the minimum requirements, which is listed at the bottom of the aforementioned downloads page. Make sure that your device is cleaned entirely of all previous updates and clients, as that may cause some errors with the new update. Also be sure your Recycling Bin or Trash is also emptied as well. If you're running a Mac-based operating system, the MAC Guide may help you.. Also, make sure you're using an extraction software, such as 7Zip for Windows, or Unarchiver for MAC. If you've extracted the file (make sure it's to a separate folder) and it still doesn't launch, try adding the PRO.exe file to your firewall and/or antivirus exceptions. Kind Regards, Astraea.
21. Hi Medrash, Sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused you! As hahahaka has said, we've recently updated many of our game elements to Generation 7, therefore, Hyper Potion was nerfed to only heal 120hp rather than 200hp. The tooltip in-game has not been changed yet to reflect this, but the issue is known to our developers. As there is nothing more I can do about this issue, I'll now lock this topic; have a good rest of your week and thanks for the report. Kind Regards, Astraea. - Locked -
22. Hi ZaJokubas, Sorry for the delay in response; could you try the following: Run the game in compatibility mode. Make sure all your drivers are up to date, particularly your graphics card driver. It appears you're running an AMD Graphics Card, therefore, you can try to use the AMD Autodetect Tool to get it running the latest version. Make sure you have the latest windows updates installed. Add an exception for the client in your Firewall and Antivirus. Clear out your Physical Memory or Ram to free up space. Terminate processes you don't need in the Task Manager. Please let me know if your issue is resolved by doing the above. Kind Regards, Astraea.
23. Hi Alphiius, This glitch is known, and unfortunately a fix has not been yet found for it. However, as you just learned—completely restarting the client will essentially fix this bug. Keep in mind that Pokemon can also become glitched when being dragged from the PC or the party; so keep this in mind if you encounter the issue once again. Kind Regards, Astraea. - Locked -
24. Hi Galunare, Glad to hear that! I'll now lock this thread as solved; have a good rest of your week! Kind Regards, Astraea. - Locked -
25. Hi Szabinoob, Glad to hear you managed to solve the issue by yourself! I'll now lock this topic and I wish you a good day. Kind Regards, Astraea. - Locked -
