After Hoenn 1st gym, forgot to take screenshot of before, but before gym, Marshstomp was a lvl 14 Mudkip. I evolved it at lvl 16 after the second gym trainer, and went from 16 to 17 with Roxanne.

Now, Elite Four, Johto. Before Will Before Koga Before Bruno Before Karen Before Lance After beating E4 Johto This region I didn't use exp share other than to level up certain mons I needed (geodude for stealth rock, Butterfree for sleep powder). Similar to the last region, experience becomes way harder to get after mid Johto (yes, taking into account the fact that I only used Gyarados). Honestly, as someone who has done the story mutiple times, I can say it is easy for me if I play using all the ai abuse, and tricks I know, however, I still think that a new player will find it hard playing the regular way (even I struggled in Kanto playing as a "new player" with a whole team of six and such).

7th Gym Johto, forgot to take screenshot of before the gym, but there was no change, other than gyarados being lvl 65.

Before and after Cianwood (5th Gym, Johto), I think xp gain is starting to slow down. (Yes, even considering my GYarados is overleveled.)

Before and after 4th Johto Gym (Ecruteak). BCC looks cool, but I was kind of disappointed I couldn't enter. xD

Johto 1st Gym, forgot to take pic before, but Totodile was lvl 12 before trainers, and Magikarp was 10 iirc.

Before E4 Kanto Before Lorelei Before Bruno Before Agatha Before Lance Before Gary And finally, after beating Gary I tried to play like a newbie would, with a random multi-colored team until gym 6, where it got incredibly hard. XP gain after Fuschia got really hard, so I ended up using the traditional gyarados set - up mons. I strongly think the xp gain must be buffed in the mid - late game part, as I think new players will find it really hard.

8th Kanto Gym, Viridian (Giovanni) forgot to take a before screenshot, but there is absolitely no change in levels. Gyarados almost got to 58 by killing mewtwo though. Mewtwo took like 5% from a +1 crunch. xd

Before, and after 7th gym (Blaine) grinding xp is way harder now. I felt the necessity to train a gyarados because of the fear of my team not being enough and making me waste too much money on revives and potions.

I forgot to took the screenshot before, but I can explain how the gym changed the pokémon. (Fuschia, 5th Kanto gym) (Growlithe) Lvl up from 42 to 43, (outrage), with the gym trainers, then rare candy til lvl 45 (flare blitz), then evolved with fire stone. (Pidgeot) No change in level, nearly got one though by killing Crobat and Venomoth against the leader. (Venusaur) No change at all. It got in to leech seed against the gym leader and get killed. (Poliwhirl) Lvl up from 41 to 43 (Wake Up Slap), with the gym trainers, then evolved with water stone. (Graveler) No change at all. It only used smack down once against the gym leader's crobat (didn't kill), and got flinched to death. (Kadabra) Didn't fight at all. It got lvld up with exp share as an abra from 34 to 40. I evolved it at lvl 37.
