[highlight=purple]Diamond Domain[/highlight] (on Love Island) is a nice place for Shellder and Staryu. Super Rod needed. [highlight=pink]Love island[/highlight] itself features Clamperl, Mantyke, Azurill and Staryu via fishing. [highlight=blue]Dragons Den[/highlight] offers Dratini via fishing. There's also Corphish and Dragonair obtainable while surfing. There's also various routes to encounter Qwilfish.

Use Good Rod to level up at Route 34, battle all those trainers each week. You'll get the needed levels eventually.

Correct. Pink question marks symbolize a so called 'Membership-Pokemon' you haven't encountered yet. Grey ones represent just normal pokes spawning on that route.

Actually, exp isn't awarded whenever both pokemon die. It will also happen when the attacking pokemon dies from recoil damage, for example. It's no particularity of the explosion move. Also, If your pokemon resists the explosion damage, you will get exp as normal. Hangather is right, blue663. No experience rewarded if both Pokemon happened to faint in the same turn.

Each trainer, apart from gym leaders, have a cooldown of 7 days. They'll battle you again as soon as you walk into their range of sight. Just walk on another route or at least ouf of their range if you want to avoid those battles. There's only a few trainers you can't hide from.

Elekid is obtained by beating Naero in game. It's a boss-reward.

That's not a mistake at all. Only a few pokes have been build upn 6th generation movepools yet, including all of the first generation (1-151) and a few of the second gen, plus some randoms according to players. Be patient and wait, all of the Pokemon will be updated over time I assume.
