  1. Server stability is something thats being worked on, which means some crashes might happen. Various things can be the reason of it, yet its hard to tell, it takes data mining to figure out what was the cause, more time to code a fix or just a random crash from overcapacitating/deadlocking. Aside from schedules reboots, crashes are impossible to detect and given the fact that trusting random players or staff with 0 knowledge about server maintenance (Me, for example) is not something you'll see in any game. Its a very delicate process. Long story short, its not uncommon to have server issues in early beta mmorpg games, none the less, they will be worked on as soon as they happen. With all due respect, you really don't need to know the reason, it happens from time to time and it will be worked soon after. Literally making a new accouncement for every crash is just unnecessary spam. Plus, only shane is the one who fixes those issues, meaning that its ok as long as he knows.
  2. Without leaking any crucial information of other aspects, i'll try to bring a few things to light. PvP : There could be a maximum number of 5 Factions, which will be completely PvP based among eachother; Defensive wins will grant you a tiny portion of points, while offensive wins will grant you more points. You can only spawn in your faction city or any other neutral city, without being able to spawn in an enemy territory instantly after being defeated. You cannot deny opposing battles from other faction. However, they can deny your battle requests if you're in their turf. PvE / Dungeon : Once per day, with a certain goal. You will be given a task from your factions taskmaster, accomplishing tasks will grant you many different rewards. However, losing the challenge will consume your points. Note that with each point loss, you rank can be demoted if you cannot uphold the required limit. These are some ideas i came up with, if you think these are weak or needs improving on. Feel free to provide the idea you have in mind, you have the base idea ; Factions that form an endless endgame loop with daily requirements and infinite PvP with rewards. Note that this is not something that is planned or waiting for approval, this will be a suggestion made by and from within the community. Note 2 : You can bypass being in a faction and roam around the world freely. However, you wont able to enter faction based events or maps (aside from their cities) You will only be regarded as a faction member inside the respective region.
  3. Rather than the usual stuff "its a beta game", given the fact that its an online game, the server already automatically saves your progress to a certain degree. On that regard, this suggestion is somewhat already implemented. This issue will be handled with a server stability, where rollbacks will be a rare occasion in the future. "If" this idea were to be implemented, it could cause exploits, namely soft-resets like in the original games. So no, this is most likely not going to happen.
  4. Breeding, no matter how you look at it will destroy the concept of CatchMMO, which is the set-out goal of PRO when it first began. It will not happen. Why? easy, breeding will cripple the economy and bring a boring grinding factor where you just get a few pokes that have good IV's and voila, you have yourself a full 31 IV comp in a matter of days. No... Breeding is imbalanced in its own right as far as competitive goes, aside from that only rich players will have good competitive pokemons, which will also kill the competitive aspect of the game. Egg move tutor is going to be implemented, so there goes that idea. Catching a decent pokemon takes a better period of time, which is head to head with the grinding factor. "IV's, nature, ability all random" This is already implemented, its called "catching another pokemon" It will still effect the rarity factor to a certain degree. Long story short, no breeding. Ever!
  5. Pokemons/items that are lost due to rollback cannot be refunded, nor having the pokedex seen/caught data is not considered as a solid evidence. Sorry for the inconvenience. However, what is lost can be re-found in the wild.

  11. 1- That depends on your "Announcement" definition. If we were to make new topics for each time the server goes down and gets back up, we'd simply spam it... So rather than that, Shane made a status checker. Which can be found here : https://www.pokemonrevolution.net/ 2- Ingame punishments are in, though only mutes are visible to players. Others, like how our Discipline Appeal sub-forum is private, are invisible to other players, nor they need to be visible, which is practicaly public shaming. 4- There is a Free-Mount quest in game. 5- Any term that is used as a derogatory is mutable, which requires either report or blatantly insulting a player infront of us. On such offense, a punishment will be enforced to said player.

  13. Hello Gravitas and sorry for the late response, i was testing this is out if it was indeed an error. You can teach charmeleon Mega Punch via TM, which can be found in celadon dept store. Early access to the TM on the other hand is not possible. Hope this helps.
  14. Nicknaming pokemons has always been there. Small impact or not it was always an aspect of the game. As you all know, even Gamefreak has banned a nickname from their original games in ORAS. On that note, we all know that 100% there will be rather offensive nicknames for pokemons that are not suitable to our game and ToS, doesn't really add anything to the game either. Let alone using censors on that regard, which requires extra scripting and coding. Absoring what i've said, there are more cons than pros to this suggestion. Then again, it will be upto the developement team to decide the fate of this suggestion.
