Xmas pokemons are meant to be special pokemon that only appear only for the xmas event. Not something that would be given out in abundence for everyone to find, eventually making everyone has one xmas pokemon. It all comes down to dedication and luck wether you can find one or not. Considering the fact that this is an MMO, yeah some are meant to be harder than the rest. Couldn't find one in this event? Good luck next year. Most likely the case at hand, xmas maps wont be going anywhere and time soon, you'll have plenty of time.

Bring up your console by clicking F2 while being ingame and type /clearmaps Once you've done so, close the game completely and run it as admin. This should solve your issue.

This is a visual glitch, result of excessive lag due to many people being on the same map. Nothing shabby.

Every pokemon has their own perks to meet within the their respective competitive aspects. Nature, IV's, EV's and movesets. Knowing what a pokemon is capable of will determine what is the maximum and minimum requirements for it. Searching the specific pokemons up will give you more insight.
