Well, you can always switch a ghost or a resistance into explosion unless the azelf is smart and predicts well. Also kinda forgot azelf has taunt so defogging on azelf is impossible anyway unless you are using a scarfed defog or get the starmie speed tie. (if adzelf explodes, there is no target and hence defog / spin fails)

well yes, removing the ninja from the field from the option, but before that happens, you will be taking constant damage from spikes? It depends on the azelf set, a flamethrower azelf can beat skarm, but not a knock off one.

so so so, according to what ive read, defoggers / spinners get beaten / pressured by ninja. as a result, they are not allowed to defog / spin on gren. Azelf is a suicide setter, so it usually dies right after setting. Diancie cannot pressure Rotom and Skarmory ( without hp fire) maybe theres more. Accelgor is just a weak spatker in general. However, Greninja can pressure these common defoggers and spinners with strength and coverage. Hence, yes.

Banned because it can beat stall? hmmmmmm? Pretty sure stall vs Gren was only mentioned once to none in the PRO PvP council. I really don't want to argue or side with anyone but PLEASE get your facts checked. If this were a real debate and I were a judge, I would side with banning Greninja.

Lets face it, every point is a double edged sword. A point against Greninja is also a point that supports Greninja. It just depends on whether you support or don't support Greninja. Every point is literally the same but rephrased to make Greninja look strong or weak, and this argument is going to go in loops if neither side admits defeat. (Also for the record, some people said if Greninja is banned because its so annoying, then why dont we ban annoying stall mons)
