You can capture a pokemon like sentret/furret with an ability called frisk which lets you know if the pokemon is holding an item/what item they are holding. If you get the move called covet/thief both moves let you steal the item of the pokemon. Im not sure if thief works at the moment.

Unless you have little to no money, paying 2.5k is not a lot of money.

If you plan on getting pokemon like absol and talonflame,you will run into problems. In jhoto and kanto, fletchling is pretty darn rare and its the same thing with absol because you can only get it at the top of mount silver. If you really want to have an easier time getting talonflame, fletchinders and talonflames are fairly common in trainers valley.

The movests arent going based off of xy, i think they are based off gen 4 im not sure. Like i said previously, check your pokedex for move sets.

Magnezone doesnt learn flash cannon but its pre evolutions like magnemite and magneton do. The only way for magnezone to know flash cannon is to evolve magneton into magnezon while knowing flash cannon. Check your pokedex for a list of their movesets.

Nothing can be done, no it is not a bug. Some abilities were changed and some were not.

It most likely does not but at the moment a lot of pokemon abilities/moves dont work or have animations.

Going off what mapplle, you have to show that you can be an admin by being active, doing things for the community, etc. If you show they will see. Becoming an admin is more than just having a cool title. Being an admin is a job in a way because you have to contribute to pro and you cant put the game on the back burner for long periods of time. Even if you dont become an admin any time soon or in the near future, you can still help the help germans in chat.

The walkthrough was wrong then, when you get all 8 jhoto badges then you can go back to kanto by train or from the route that took you to newbark town.
