The only ridiculous person here is you. You should've known beforehand that you can't train the poke - you just started the game anyway. Why in hell would you offer someone level up service? If you didn't agree to a sale and then backed out, nothing will happen to you. The rule is perfectly fine. Once you agree on a deal and place, you are commited to go through with the sale.

You even get a fair amount of PVE coins on medium bosses. It's way too easy and was harder before.

No, it's already easy enough as it is. Battle Tower isn't the only way you can get PVE coins. If you do it combined with boss battles and BCC you'll have more than enough coins in a short amount of time.

Not a fan of growlithe/arca, but gligar/glis looks very nice
