Staff pokes - Is this really what the PVP community wants?
Bladermagician replied to Crokstar's topic in General Game Talk
Go ahead and show me a 6x30 Latios that was caught by a player, I'll wait. Serperior is even worse considering there are 88 h.a. Serperior on Red Server and those are all random nature random IVs and need a specific hidden power. -

I've brought forth many good arguments to support my ideas and you are the one who just keeps repeating yourself. You changes are irrational, your ideas are contradictory etc. etc. etc. -

So basically you're telling us our arguments contradict themselves, we're a bunch of complainers, and our suggestions are terrible. Ok thank you for your input you can leave now. -

The Raikou was a tournament reward and I already explained tournament rewards. I'm not sure what you want here but it's not anything constructive that's for sure. -

You still have yet to show me a picture of a "near-perfect" legendary/exclusive. -

List the ad hominem arguments that I allegedly brought up please. If you can't find one - which I expect - you pretty much just made one up yourself by calling me out on something I didn't do. How about every time you've told us we are being contradictory? -

Bladermagician replied to Crokstar's topic in General Game Talk
Why is it that you feel the need to attack our point of view every time you post? All you have been doing this entire thread is throwing out ad hominems because you have no ground to stand on. I'm not sure why you haven't been issued with a warning yet considering both me and Gambilicious would have been met with one by now if we were pulling the same stuff you are. Questions we need to visit 1. Why should staff mons be allowed to be Legendary/Boss Exclusive? 2. Why should staff mons be perfect IVs? 3. Is it not enough that staff mons to reward staff with MS and non-PVP mons? 4. Why do staff feel the need to change their mons to meet their team's needs? 5. Are there other rewards we can give to staff that will be satisfactory? I'm not going to discuss any further tournament mons because they were created for the sole purpose TO GIVE THE TOURNAMENT WINNER AN ADVANTAGE. Staff mons were created with the purpose of rewarding staff for their hard work because they can't play for as many hours as us players because they are staffing instead of playing. THERE ARE NO AMOUNT OF HOURS PLAYED THAT CAN GIVE US A PERFECT LEGENDARY/BOSS EXCLUSIVE MON. Staff have other rewards such as MS, Hats, Clothes, Mounts. It was not until recently that they put the Black Absol mount in the PVP shop and gave the Anbu mask to the #1 ranked player on the server. If they are unhappy to the point that they will leave staff why are they even staff in the first place? -

I could link a picture of a tournament reward Raikou and a staff-generated Raikou with the exact same stats and you couldn't tell the difference. I could upload the same picture twice for all you know. Now tell me why one of those is ok, while one is to be banned? You can't justify it, it wouldn't follow any logic. You said that you don't care about how either are obtained so even in that regard you can't argue about odds - what base exactly is left for you to argue on? I've already answered you multiple times on this exact same subject and you clearly don't understand. -

Sure you can include anything you want since you are fabricating things that we think and want and seem to not care at all what our reasoning's are behind them. -

Bladermagician replied to Crokstar's topic in General Game Talk
The Magikarp was an example as you were talking about an "1/300 chance to find the right poke". And I already explained earlier that staffs essentially skip the luck-part needed to catch a near-perfect legendary in exchange for the time they spend on staff-work. If you consider that to be unfair, so be it. You can go on and argue that the staffs get too good of a reward for their work - that might be an absolutely valid point. But in the first post of this thread it is argued that staff pokes are unfair because they are too much of an advantage in PVP - I am disagreeing with that because regular players are running around with near-perfect legendaries aswell but that doesn't seem to bother the thread-opener. Regarding your last point: let's be serious; if a staff had to kill all of the catchable legendaries on purpose as an exchange for his staff rewards, you would still be complaining because those catchable ones are trash in most cases anyways. Please post examples of there legendaries that rival staff mons. I would very much like to see some of them. -

First of all you shouldn't start your argumentation by saying other opinions don't have any value. Makes you look rather silly. Also, I am NOT talking about some random dude catching a 6x28+ Magikarp and saying that's equal to a near-perfect Latios. I'm talking about the players that get very lucky on their Latios and end up with 28+ IVs on it. Player-caught legendaries like that exist but nobody is annoyed by them, yet you are annoyed by staff pokes when they literally are the same thing. PS: "Please now you should let the adults discuss together , and go play in your room, imma call you when the dinner will be rdy o/." - Don't talk about being an adult when you're both unable to accept different opinions and can't refrain from insulting others. Different opinions? You stated no opinions. All you have done is try to attack other player's POV and have contributed nothing of value yourself. You say that no one is annoyed by epic Legends but, as I have told you over and over, we have been trying to get rerolls/re catches on legends for a very long time. -

Bladermagician replied to Crokstar's topic in General Game Talk
It is not contradictory to not want perfect legendaries obtained for the purpose of gaining an advantage over others. I other staff member have taken mons that are available through unlimited farming and I am perfectly ok with it, if you try to say that is contradictory then you are just plain wrong and we can end the discussion here since you have nothing constructive to add. It is contradictory to allow perfect legendaries obtained for the purpose of gaining an advantage over others for players but not for staffs. This thread is only targeting staff pokes while there are several players that own unfarmable pokes with near-perfect IVs. What you are asking us to ask for is simply absurd and trying to make it look like we are contradicting ourselves all because you can't come up with anything constructive to say. How about this. Let's let staff use whatever non uber mon they want but give it completely random IVs and nature. They should be happy with whatever reward they get since they aren't out to take an advantage in pvp correct? -

I've been advocating Legendary rerolls and recatches since before you started the game so you should know your stuff before you come in this thread and start putting words into my mouth. Stop making assumptions and get your facts straight. Don't see how the time either of us joined this game matters - even if it did, I actually joined the game just 2 days earlier than you did on my first account ;) Also, I asked you to explain to me what your motivation is for banning staff pokes specifically but not player pokes of similar strength - the "words I put into your mouth" were based on what I found to be the only difference between staff pokes and near-perfect regular pokes. And I don't see why you're bringing up rerolls for legendaries now; if that's all you want why do you insist on staff pokes being banned instead of further advocating rerolls? Because I like things to be fair and right now there's not a reroll in place for legendaries, non-farmable mons. The only argument you have is to try and tear apart our arguments. This is not going to work because you have nothing constructive to add to the conversation. I'm doing everything I can to try to get legendary rerolls/recatches added to the game. -

Bladermagician replied to Crokstar's topic in General Game Talk
We can't hunt perfect Latios, hp fire h.a. Serperior, Heatran, Jirachi, Mew, Celebi, Suicune, Entei, Raikou. You're arguments are wordy but don't bring much weight to them as all you are trying to do is put words into our mouths. We DON'T care how they are obtained BECAUSE staff and tournament winners EARNED them but what we DO care about is the fact that NONE of use can FARM them. Tournament winner's pokemon aren't hand picked to give them an unfair advantage against other players. Staff pokemon are supposed to be a reward for doing good for the community, not something that a player uses to get an edge against the meta. You are implying that staff pokes are an unfair advantage. Yet you don't mind players obtaining the very same kind of pokes - that's what is bothering me. I'm not saying everyone gets them, but there are players who were lucky enough to obtain near-perfect but unfarmable pokes, be it through sheer luck on a boss reward/legendary encounter or through winning a tournament. Those pokes are just as much of an advantage as staff pokes but yet you aren't suggesting to ban them which simply is contradictory. If you are going to ban anything you have to ban both - they are the same thing regarding PVP. Since you insist on banning one but not the other I tried to find a difference between a near-perfect unfarmable poke obtained by a player and a near-perfect staff poke and the only difference I found is in the way they are obtained, which is why I assumed that's whats bothering you. Unless you present to me another difference between those two kinds of pokes and explain why that difference is enough to ban one but not the other, I will consider your request to be unreasonable as it seems to target staff pokes because of an allegedly unfair PVP advantage while ignoring "normal" pokes that grant the very same advantage to their owner. I've been advocating Legendary rerolls and recatches since before you started the game so you should know your stuff before you come in this thread and start putting words into my mouth. "The pokemon must be available for players already" Does this include mons like h.a. hp fire Serperior? This pokemon is technically "available" but it is not mathematically "available". We have to wait 6 weeks to catch a Snivy and that Snivy is random nature random IV and a 5% chance to be h.a. I know that there is one or two floating around but none of them are hp fire. Staff are supposed to be taking these mons as a reward, not a chance to gain an advantage against the populace. -
Please reduce evolution for latios and latias

I asked for a harder quest because of how I feel about hour requirements a year ago. You guys have finally come through with something and I don't have much of a problem with it but I do feel like boss exclusive mons aren't entirely fair to have as requirements because of disconnections and whatnot. The biggest issue we are faced with is the viability of the pokemon. As it stands we have a 50% chance to catch a Timid Lati. Latios/as are too powerful for people to who have given weeks, months, years of effort to get one that is unusable while others will have a large advantage in PVP against players who can't use it. I do think that it is fair that we are able to use the pokemon in PVP but everyone who has put in the effort SHOULD be able to use it. I have caught 6 legendaries and 6/6 are unusable (Genesect is good but banned). Not being able to use these mons are not much of a concern to me because even if they were perfect it wouldn't give me much of an advantage to use them (other than Genesect of course). Latios/as are complete different monsters. While they are 600 BST they break the barriers by having increased SPD SPATK at the cost of some DEF and HP and incredible movesets to complement those increases. I understand staff's point of view in regards to our situation on our legendaries but I imlpore staff to look at the player perspective of these issues. -

Would it be possible to lock their natures as Timid? I understand some people would want a different nature but I'm sure that the majority of players would rather have a guaranteed nature for something that is extremely difficult to accomplish. -
It is supposed to fail and you can use again but maybe it's bugged

Lucareus https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=116&t=75214 Why am I being demanded that I be respectful to staff if they don't do the same
-
I don't think you know some of the cases that have been gravely mishandled recently due to personal bias. I can see how someone would want to protect their perfect staffers but I can assure you that we are using a public forum to help protect players against bias. It is as Daen said, if we don't know a staffs player account then it is quite easy for them to act as judge, jury, and executioner when they don't like someone and giving someone that much power combined with anonymity gives them the ability to do as they please. But as you said before this doesn't concern you so just stay in your perfect little bubble
-
Staff haven't even been held accountable for their actions recently which is why this is such a big deal. Of course staff can only see one side of this coin because they don't want to be held accountable so here you guys are telling us that your anonymity needs to be kept a secret.
