  1. It looks like you're trying to run the program from inside of the .zip archive, you need to extract the PROClient folder to somewhere on your computer and run the game from there.
  2. It was 100% a troll. No way they expected anyone to get 3m ivs. Like most people I bailed out the moment I saw that number, no way am I spending 4 hours of my life farming Bidoof :u
  3. This is what I was going to bring up as well, I'm fairly sure we may be thinking of the same staff member. I've seen screenshots of him being disrespectful and rude to both active and banned players (falsely banned or otherwise.) Talking down to them, mocking them, making jabs at them. Far be it from me to tell you guys how to control your staff, but I've administrated a lot of forums in my time and that dude would have been gone long ago. Every single person here deserves to be treated with respect until they've proven extremely undeserving of it, this particular staff member seems unwilling to do that. I have a feeling we don't even need to name that staff member, from the few staff members I have spoken to he's a known issue among you guys... Yet he's still here? I know a lot of you guys are great and care about the game and it's community, but staff members like that are giving you a very bad name among the playerbase.
  4. Love these additions, Copycat should help make things a lot less grindy for new players going through Hoenn/Sinnoh.
  5. Event form: Summer Time investment: 30min Possibly interest to join staff either as Pixel Artist or Coin Shop icon creator: No (Actually drawn by Maple1996, she asked me to post it.)
  6. I mean yeah, that was them logging in to see if they could mail it back and finding out that they didn't have access to mailboxes. If you guys can see IPs then you'll see that we share the same IP, the account definitely isn't active if you look at their login history, there should be almost a month or more between that login and the most recent one.
  7. Appreciate that. I don't want to bug them for their password to get permeant access to the account though, they probably used it elsewhere. I don't mind waiting.
  8. When my partner and I first started playing PRO I sent them a Ninetales mount in the mail, but since then they've stopped playing and never actually got to the badge where you can start using the mailboxes. Is there any chance I could get it returned to me? I tried logging in to their account to return it to myself but, as I said, they never even got access to the mailbox system. Their account with the mount in the mail is Fruitbat, it was either sent from my UnionJess account or my CaptainBritish account. If this isn't do-able, that's okay. Just figured I'd ask rather than have the mount just rot.
  9. No matter how you slice it, even if the times of the WQ rotate every month as a mod in-game suggested, there's always going to end up being people who miss out. Be it sleep, school, work or illness having a single set start and end time will end up unfair to at least a few time zones. The pool of available IV points is also significantly too low to allow a decent number of people to participate in the event, our WQ started in the middle of the night my time was over in 7 hours. the next one starts right when most people would be going to bed for work or school in the morning. At least half the player base didn't even have a chance to participate. It's also frustrating that the best place to hunt Gold's WQ Pokémon was locked behind a quest, once again giving an unfair advantage to certain players. Suggested fixes: Allow players to manually start the WQ at a time of their choosing within a 24 hour time period, give them a certain number of hours to reach a smaller IV pool. Expand the IV pool so it's more likely for the WQ to last the full 24 hours, thus giving everyone around the world a chance to participate. Host four separate WQ events through the day, every six hours. Do not allow people who have already participated in the WQ for the day to participate in a second one, again allowing everyone a chance to participate. Also do not pick Pokémon whose best farming location or only repellable location is located behind a quest wall. If this is supposed to be a special event that only occurs 12 days of the year then everyone should have a chance to participate in it and be on equal footing. I personally think that the third option is the best solution to the issue while still keeping the spirit of the old system in-tact.
