So the "40 mins left" can be somewhat misleading. Please keep this rule in mind if ever in this situation again:

You have also 'noted' bids that have been recieved before the auction has began, these are not valid. Hello @Gynn You cannot accept the next best offer after an auction has concluded. The bid from Mochi00 still had to be acknowledged. It is at liberty of a Trade Moderator to determine if you have been victim to a false bid, you cannot make these decisions on your own accord. With that said, you will be issued a warning for a mishandled auction. However, in this case, you actually were victim to a false bidder and @Mochi00 has also been punished for their actions in this too.
