It mean you become normal player, not membership more. It still normal thing, you don't lose anything. You only not get any bonus from membership anymore. Thus, you can donation or buuy from trade membership and your status will be come back as membership.

Make sure your magikarp not over 510 ev and 252 ev per stat. Sometimes, you will need take off macho brace and trying to change order of pokemon, take some wild battle and then it will solved.
