Some times when the game crashes/stuck, you might lose your a bit of your progress. Keep in mind that game is in BETA and crashes can happen any time. You will not be given anything you lost in a rollback/crash/stuck as it's responsbility. You cannot reset process in game, however you can try to catch poliwag at route 22 at night (on the left at viridian city), or catch budew at daytime in viridian forest. It will best pokemon for you pass easy Brock gym. Hope ti can help you.
