Hunting for Togepi as many of us are, while watching my favourite show. to my dismay, I looked over on to my screen and noticed I nearly ran from a shiny Pichu! (the sprite is very similar and I didn't notice immediately) I play the game muted since I usually am watching shows/netflix/twitch, and especially while hunting listening to the same Kadabra cry everytime is totally tedious and drives me nuts. EV training is similar. That being said, there's no way to have the shiny noise on without hearing that same cry all the time. Is there anyway to enable just the shiny noise to be on without the other cries? Think it would be a huge quality of life change.

Thanks for the post - The air balloon strategy was proven fraudulent right away. Haunter works exactly the same in its place. The Letrix battle has been updated to add the Azu strategy as well - Honchkrow is *technically* faster since no set up is required, but both work very well. Garchomp is a very difficult pokemon to obtain, and I tried the best that I can to minimize difficult pokemon needed in the guide. It could easily fit into the "fast dragon" category. Elm is already fairly easy to beat, and Surge is a joke with Seaking, so adding him didn't seem totally necessary.

Hey there! The "Blank OT" bug happens when a Pokemon that has been caught didn't properly save to the database when you caught it. As a result, a Pokemon that hasn't been assigned an ID yet and then is traded, will be blank like this. Unfortunately, nothing can be done for this and you will need to catch another rat and raise it. In order to make sure it doesn't happen again, make sure that once you catch your Rattata, log out to force save the Pokemon, then check if there's a number with it. Once it's been assigned, it will always have that number and you can trade it freely. Good luck.

You lose money when you lose to NPCs based on how much money you have already. Did you have a lot of money already? Also, once you start the Heatran quest, your balls and candies are locked with Buck until you complete the quest. So since you started it, he's still holding them. When you complete it, you'll get them all back when you talk to him.
