1. I feel like this is in the process of being worked on, as now the PC in the contest hall is gone, but a working pc in would be nice, both in the contest hall and in the stop house before starting the catching. That way I can hunt for the pokemon I want in the area with the sync I actually want to use, then if i manage to get a 150+ iv poke I can switch to the sync I want to use for Genesect. Likewise if I have a full team on me and I head to do bug catching and get there, not realizing I have a full team on me, going back to a city to dump my whole team off can be kind of annoying. 2. I also am aware that (per Shamac's post on the announcements page) the rewards are being drastically updated in the next client update, can we at least get a slightly better place holder for a couple of them? I got a flame orb for a 200 iv shelmet yesterday and 3 PP ups for a 255 Scyther today. If PP ups are going to be a prize, can I at least get like 10 of them? Cause a flame orb =/= 3 PP ups. If the next client update is a week or two away and it's not worth it, then obviously thats fine but if it's for the forseeable future I think a more appropriate reward should be included. As always thanks for everything staff does behind the scenes. You're appreciated.

Good to know. Keep bumping this thread until a staff notices it! Sorry to hear you lost money.

I don't have personal experience with this tutor, but the tutors all ask "Are you sure you want to learn ____ ? The price can not be refunded if you decline". if you hit yes after that, then yeah if you only had 3 moves it would automatically teach it.

Cool down timer for bug contest zone and excavations
Purplemauth replied to Olmosdog's topic in Suggestions
Exca sites don't need them. Since the cooldown is 22h, set a time of the day (7pm for instance) and don't do the sites before that time every day. That way, they will always be ready when you go. -
Shiny pokemon are totally random. Certain Bosses and other game specific events give pokemon that have a higher chance, but the rate for 99% of things in pro is 1/8192 for a shiny. H.A = hidden ability. Most pokemon have Hidden abilities, and in some cases it is very important for that pokemon to have it's hidden ability, and thus increases the value for when it is being sold. pokemon you encounter in the wild have a 5% of having it's hidden ability. Epic is a loosely used term. For most, it means the pokemon has the correct ability, nature, and IVs that are in the high 20s. The term gets tossed around fairly often and the standard for "epic" has dropped. As far as understanding when you have something good, you can ask all chat/battle chat for their opinions on pokemon. Knowing what makes a pokemon "good" is basically only gathered through experience playing the game and understanding a pokemons purpose. For example, Talonflame is one of the strongest pokemon in PVP. However, without it's Hidden Ability Gale wings, It is largely useless. Also, If it has a Modest nature instead of an Adamant or Careful nature, It is also not as good. The only way to know is to play and learn.

Metapod went Metagod and kicked your Kadabra's butt. I'm sorry. Was your Kadabra low health?

Maybe next time close your chat heads before you take a screenshot.

Definite no. Not every player is supposed to be able to obtain anything shiny.

Since we also have Generation 6 Pokemon like ur named Talonflame (Brave Bird User) I would say, the attacks are based on up to gen 6 too. It´s not a Gen 7 move so it would be fair to add the effect of blocking powder moves, also it´s easy to code too :) I apologize I didn't specify - pokemon movesets/abilities/items are up to Gen 5. In the past, they have not updated singular abilities or moves to the most recent generation without doing it in large waves. It's not a matter of whether or not something is easy to code, it's maintaining consistency. It would be an organizational nightmare to pick and choose certain abilities to work up to most recent generations while leaving others multiple generations behind.

Similar to how Gale Wings changed functionality in Gen 7, Overcoat was changed in Gen 6, and as far as I know most pokemon/abilities/items in PRO are all up to gen 5. It would appear unlikely that there would be a change unless there is a widespread rollout of updates to Gen 6.

This time i was in Lilycove and it was the same bug as the one in Dewford. Maybe check all the locations of him?

Gene is getting his head cut :(

could also be holding a choice scarf which gives you 50 percent more speed.

I dont think burmy evolution is coded, however I think wormadam is released when the bug catching area comes out (which is soon).

Before blue was default server, MS/coins was over 1m+ as well. It switched to default. Blue has been bumping ever since. I'm not sure I understand the hostility in all these posts. RIght now red and Blue have decent playerbases and yellow is clearly suffering. Why can it not just switch? Lol

If this is how you spelled it, it's spelled Minccino. Check for that.

This is nothing more than a visual bug. Focus Punch, in the real games shows the user "tightening its focus". Then, you use whatever move you selected. If you used an attacking move, the opponent breaks focus. If you used a non attacking move, like recover, Focus Punch goes through. This all takes place in the course of one turn. It is not a charge up attack move, like Solarbeam.

I was beside the female, then the guy turned, challenged me, and walked through the other NPC's to battle me. The picture is me hitting screenshot as he was walking towards me.

Unballanced game after Black medallios release...
Purplemauth replied to Fabion's topic in General Game Talk
I bought a black medallion and farmed 8 hours for dratini yesterday. I caught exactly 0 (I didn't even see a dratini). The medallion doesn't mean anything for rare pokes. -
NPC Dialogue Errors [NOT NPC BUGS]
Purplemauth replied to Unknown007's topic in NPC & Scripting Bugs
Beat the boss on Two Island. Shouldn't be uppercase and should read "a hero". EDIT: This was the first time beating the boss in a row, don't know if that matters or not. -
The Black Medalion problem (20% rate hidden ability)
Purplemauth replied to Adonar's topic in Suggestions
Prehax has nothing to do with your fun. If you have so much trouble with Talonflame, maybe try building a different team that counters it better. Talonflame outspeeding a whole team is the exact same thing as saying your Azumarill can outspeed a team (which it can with aqua jet) so i'm not sure what the point of saying that is. Finally, as Prehax said, there are no Gen 7 Pokemon in the game, there is nothing to do with Gen 7 in PRO, we don't even have the fourth region out yet. There will likely be no Gale Wings adjustment in the near future. -
I understand why this would be the thought for many people, but you do realize it would cost literally hundreds of dollars for pokemon to be "perfect"? If the 1 percenters who have that much disposable income on a poke to raise their IVs from 27 to 30 (which is literally a negligible increase 90% of the time) and it means that we get more content and ideas in the game, I say let people have them.

Under the "what do I do now" spoiler on how to beat E4, you missed linking a guide. Otherwise fantastic job, this is 90 percent of the questions that are asked by new players.
