Having 2 different pokemon with regenerator can be annoying yes but this tactic can easily be countered so I don't see this being a rule or such~

Welp try to understand that another reason this could be is because Red was the first server, which holds veteran peeps here still. Also Any new users/new clients automatically give you yellow sever as your first optional server. Some players just login sometimes without realizing this~
