Yeah, it only takes some minutes if you keep clicking the button. Like every few minutes someone logs out or gets kicked by being AFK and you can enter then. I also want to note that if I recall correctly the size before was 1400 users > they're trying to improve the server.

I don't know what's the point in making a whole region for PRO if you just breeze it with a Level 100 instead of playing it normally and enjoying it. But since not all we have the same opinion, I'll keep it as an opinion.

That depends because the Xmas event lasted like a week or something, so I don't think you can complete Johto, counting that you have a real life and you're not playing PRO 24 hours a day.
