Yes that is a cisual bug, but if you want to avoid it you just need to close completely and reload the client. That works for me. :)

Try to use a gmail or outlook account, there are problems with som other providers atm :)

This is made because there are too many people try to login. If you extend the afk time, the queue will be everlasting because a lot of people would abuse the possibility not to logout keeping the slot occupied while not playing. So, as a player, I don't support your suggestion.
