Don't know about you guys, but that anniversary log-in theme hit me right in the feels. The first movie has always been one of my favourites so hearing that theme is really nostalgic :Heart-eyes: Got the movie when it first came out and got a special Mewtwo trading card with it :Shy: Good times

When I look at clothes in the store, the preview shows me the male version. So ether this is a bug with the preview window, or the game thinks my character is a guy, though I most definitely made a female character back when I started. The gender change happened when Hoenn was released. The outfit I have on my character still shows as the female version though. I also noticed that May on route 103 called me Mr Champ, but of cause I don't know if she's supposed to say that no matter if you're male or female. So if it's a bug with the store preview or a gender changing bug I have no idea. I just wish to be sure that my character is female.

I recall Arnie saying NPC-triggered encounter like headbutt trees cannot produce shinies. Since Dig spots seems to be an NPC-triggered encounter as well, I doubt it can produce shinies. That's rather sad when there are some pokemon you can only get this way. So then they won't have a shiny version

we all agree on that but that means extra work for developers and they mentioned before that server stability is the main concern now, so until they make it we need to find a solution. I'm pretty sure they have said somewhere that they have already coded an Auction House, but they won't implement it before the servers are stable. So hopefully them focusing so much on server stability atm will also lead to an AH soonish, if they can fix the issues :Shy:

I will agree that if you're going to lvl on wild pokemon in Johto then the grind will be terrible. Those pokemon are seriously low lvl compared to your progress. Like there's no lvl increase for the wild pokemon after you have beaten the 2nd gym although you can't enter the forest before you do. Would have expected a lvl jump there. Next place that could use an increase in lvl is the route after goldenrod. Both the trainers there and the wild pokemon seems really underlvled. I usually hit 40+ from the story in goldenrod so it feels really unbalanced that when you get out on the other side you'll be fighting pokemon around lvl 14. You can go through Johto just fine with MS, the good rod, and not evolving your pokemon. Then you get all the lvl you need. But would be nice if you could also go in a normal way without feeling like killing yourself.
