For bosses Clefable( bold/magicgaurd), Snorlax(impish/thickfat), gengar(timid/levitate--- speed need to be 31ivs), are good and they also good for pvp too. For pvp there are lots of pokes to use. u can check it https://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/pokemon/

Yes pro is with lots of fun, do bosses and farm pvp pokes, collect money and also love island, sevi island, legendry quest lots more are there.
