First off all welcome to PRO you can check Guild section related to your server (silver) and find a guild that suits you and there you can make friends and help you pass the story of each region (Kanto,Johto,Hoenn,Sinnoh) about the trade in game you can sell your pokes only in trade chat for now, maybe in future we can see an auction house and here in forum in trades section related to your server. I suggest you read the rules for PVP when the time comes but for now reading Chat and overall trade rules is a good start. Now if i have to give some tips is dont ever let all your pokes in slots (1-6) die cause that will lead in blackout and you will lost some money (as much money as you have then more money you will lose) on other tip is relog trick so you can get fast in pokecenter you previous had been visit (do relog when tou fight with a poke you will not lose any money and you will be tp to last visited pokecenter, use that if you are stuck somewhere) and my last tip is take your time with trading see how market works prices atc and then start buying and selling pokes otherwise you will have some money loss i wish you good luck with the story and pvp later. Edit: Relog tricks to avoid trainers maybe can help you rush somehow the story (do relog when a npc trainer spots you then after you log in in first sec go forward so the npc cant spot you)
