Welcome back friend!! Good luck on your pokemon journey (although yours is a journey of already epic scope, hopefully your experience in PRO will be another legendary chapter in your story)! -
Im not in the habit of cheating people out of money, I'm just trying to make the point that EV enhancing items make people desperate for cash and rares are too hard to find to make hunting them worth while. I foresee a lot of trade chat spammers and new player scammers :-( Like I said, other than those two details I'm very excited for PRO! Viva la Revolucion!!

I agree, I haven't hunted much but when I have it has been frustrating to encounter so many commons (maybe one rare in an hour or more) this suggests that it would be better to spend my time spamming trade channel with commons to trick a noob out of their money than to hunt. The issue I would suggest to change is removing the EV enhancing items from the game (carbon, protein, etc.) I believe that these items greatly inflate the value of money - yet another reason for players to spend all their time in trade chat hoarding cash as opposed to hunting and training their own pokemon. If neither of these issues are resolved I imagine myself catching a lot of common pokemon in higher level zones and selling them to noob who haven't reached those zones yet at an inflated price - something I don't particularly look forward to. Other than those two issues I absolutely love the game and am finding it increasingly difficult to patiently await release :x89:

There are your reasons, also as someone previously stated: breeding leads to perfect IVs which would mean that eventually everyone could have identical teams which would make PvP less fun.

Currently I believe there are 3 (with more planned for the future) member only zones (safari zone member only, pokemon tower member only, and trainer valley) No, all accounts will be reset at release so that everyone starts on a level playing field. I'm not sure, but I think you must be signed into an account to donate via PayPal, not 100% sure though about questions 1 and 3.

1,2,3-- I feel the same way. I prefer battles this way because it adds an extra layer of difficulty to the NPCs. You have such a huge advantage if you're given a free switch, and PRO isn't meant to be easy. I don't like that trainer battles can potentially force unwanted EVs to your Pokémon, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. :xiagree: free switch against NPCs would make the game way too easy, also that is why EV altering berries are so important

Welcome friend!! Good luck on your pokemon journey! :xwelcomesign: It's true that low levels take a long time to get - I would suggest staying in viridian forest and running away from anything lower than level 4.

All right, sounds fun enough. Though, in your ranked system, what would be the reason players will want to PvP early on in the game, and are there any rewards except for if you win tournaments? Also, I don't know why you won't consider adding a timer to battling a certain player (against reward exploiting). To me it sounds fair enough that you for example could earn like a small amount of money from the same person every day, as long as you two still are within the 20lvl pokemon difference limit. The small amount of money would be maybe only $400 or even less and would only really be a small motivation to start battling, as currently there isn't any. ~notblackjack Currently there aren't any but as arnie said there will be PvP rewards soon enough, the issue with the timer is that often people want a rematch immediately after losing a battle, also by watching the PvP ranks staff will be able to identity exploiters easily enough

Welcome friend!! Good luck on your pokemon journey! :xwelcomesign: Also in regards to your spawn rate suggestion, ghastly is too good to be common in an MMO, perhaps there are other pokemon that would make good common spawns in pokemon tower that aren't as powerful, but not as boring as rattata, such as drowzee or misdreavus
