Hi there. Before anything, this isn't a bug. The speed of mounts were made equal for balance and for aesthetic appeal. It occurred to us that Jet-skiis and Shiny Mounts were the same price. However, when we tried to make the shiny mounts the same speed as the Jet-skiis, they didn't look good with the animation. With that, we simply decided to make the speed of all mounts 6. This is 50% faster than normal, and 50% slower than the Kyogre mount. This makes it fairer for those who purchase shiny mounts. For those who have already purchased jet-skiis, there is an Office Worker in Saffron Station that can refund your Jet-skii and turn it into a coin capsule which you can use for other things. If you have a Kyogre mount, you can make a post in Donation and Coin Issues and have the item refunded for you. So no, you're not losing out on the coins you spent as you can have it refunded. Same for your Kyogre.
