Merry Christmas and have a good time

It's September 6th 2015, i came across PRO by accident because of a german imageboard. The altered Kanto story made me enjoy replaying one of the best Pokemon regions there is. A nostalgic trip if you wanted to say. The Multiplayer aspect also made it fun to finally hunt for Pokemon even a longer time. I really appreciated the time beeing around and i that's why i wanted to make a late but final goodbye thread, since the year also is coming to an end. But who is this former Staff even? Anduin / Deku might not say you something, but maybe Lafleur (CC) or Seibuza (player acc).

 

 

Chapter 1: The first Companions

 

As a player i was around help chat alot and helped new people, even made new friends with many who helped aswell. This people will be the first one to get my gratitute for a great time and might make some of you remember those aswell, maybe it'll be as nostalgic for you to read about those people, as it was for me to play this game again (some probably won't play anymore but they still should be mentioned and remembered).

 

Immortalorigins, Murivazen, FujiwaraRiku, Pengin, Blucrow, Kairi, Doctor6, Licorice you were one of the main core people i met and talked with in the help Channel. Good friends, great helpers and really honorable players overall.

 

There are more people from help channel to name, but sadly i can't remember all those. The ones mentioned were the ones who made me stay for longer in PRO after playing it the first few months, that's why they deserve a special place in my thread.

 

 

Chapter 2: My Guilds

 

While playing PRO i had two main guilds. My own guild failed kinda, i never was any successfull as leader but i wanted to thank the members of The Underdogs for beeing awesome :)

 

 

Karps:

Doggy - You founded the Karps and were a fun person to write with. May your Godly Pokemon shine as bright as the godly shiny magikarps you have

Jaszie - Our ways parted badly, but i still think the time before it ended was fun with you. Thanks for that.

Doctor6 - Yes i know i named you previously already, but you're the guy i wanted to write a few more words. Your neutrality and farsight in arguments were always appreciated in the guild, same as doggy you were a great dude to talk with. I've never had a boring conversation with you.

Cobblepot, Ballzofsteel, Hiddenrage, Nightjay, Saibaka, Coldbot...i mean Coldboy ;) , Rottenmelons, FlameGirl989, Tsiofanis. You guys were the main part i chatted daily with, you guys rocked i wish you all the best of luck in live.

 

 

Ancient Times:

This part will be in german since this guild was mainly german, you can skip that part if you want.

 

Siver - Dein Einsatz für die Gilde war wirklich Spitze, du warst einer der Gründe warum ich überhaupt erst in den Deutsch Chat kam. Ich zieh meinen Hut vor dir, die Arbeit die du in die Gilde gesteckt hast war echt Wahnsinn

Chapter 3: Time as a Staff:

 

For this Chapter i will have to stride out a bit. Back in December 2015 Xhaj pm'd me ingame and asked me a few questions. A few days later i was interviewed for a Staff Position and as you can guess, i was accepted. I started out as a CC, a role that beautifully evolved with the efforts and work of Shamac, Pixiu, Shaui and Windypuff, it was basically the work i did before without the staff tag on my player account on help channel. Ofcourse i had new tasks like the Forums but it was intresting to work there. At the time as CC i was known under the pseudonym Lafleur. Around march I worked shortly as a GM but had to leave as a Staff because of reallife Issues. I came back into Staff 4 months later with the name i have now. Anduin. I was retrained as GM and stayed GM for the rest of my Staff time. In that time 2015-2017 alot of stuff happened, be it good or bad, it was still a splendid experience. I've made alot of friends i still write from time to time with, altho i didn't show up in PRO alot in the last year.

I won't make a special thanks to anyone in the staff team, everyone did their best, some more some less but they still were a part of something that needed every help it could get. From Admin to Apprentice, everyone did try their best as a team, a wonderful experience and a special part of my life i won't easily forget, nor the people i worked with on a daily basis.

 

 

Chapter 4: TL;DR:

I'm also not a friend of Wall of Texts but for special occasions you have to make something longer. I'm not a big writer, especially in a language i'm not fully fluent in. So here is the TL;DR: It was a great time in PRO, thank you everyone for that blast of the past experience packaged in the MMO style.

i literally mentioned all staff members in a whole paragraph ;)

I wanted to make a mention paragraph like the previous ones too but than I'd probably not mention those who did great work, but i weren't working alot with. I had only a bit of contact with some artists/scripters back then but as a moderator you are mainly operating together with other moderators.

 

@Piine most likely not, maybe next year on christmas to make a small hide and seek event again, like i did this year. I tried to play the game again occassionally but i grew out of it. If i want to play a Pokemon again, i get my 2ds and play there :P
