Hi there @springhow - apologies for the delay. 

 

As you can see it being mentioned by the NPC, we disabled the quest due to a critical bug that needs to be fixed. As such it was best to close the quest until it is resolved. Until then I'm afraid there is no way to obtain any of the Hoenn starter mega stones.
