I came here to have a look at the post because I was having the same doubt. I didn't know it was possible to evolve after level 100, Thanks Norex! 😉

But I cannot Do that with my machoke even if I have a mysterious candy

No, just click in the mysterious candy in your bag and use it on the pokemon you need
